I got promoted yesterday! Woohoo! I am now a design manager. Very Excited. I fought for the position when I found out that they might appoint somebody from another department. It's just plain worng and unfair. So, I spoke to a few people and argued my case.
It's a fantastic feeling. I don't know what came about me. I would just normally brush things off and justify why the other person deserves it. Not this time! I even told The Boyf (the BF) that even if I didn't get it, I am proud that I did something about it.
I obviously must credit The Boyf, who listened to my complaints and encouraged me to go after the position. And our current Creative Director who gave a good word about me to our HR manager! And also to a few design-team-people that listened and had good advices for me! Cheers!

Anyhow, I have more stories about the boyfriend's Valentines' celebration at Stamford Hotel. It was glorious, I'm telling you!
