I wrote a lot about the then boyfriend and now husband. I guess I was going through a new phase in my life. After 8 or more years of being single and independent - I felt I had to write about my "weird" experiences.
The Proposal
Yes, the BF proposed the night before Valentines Day - Friday the 13th. I came home from work and Matt was already home and welcomed me with much joy and excitement. He gave me a little box of chocolates from Chocolate Plato. ( I am now so in love with chocolates and pastries more than I ever used to!) I thought that was extremely sweet of him.
He said that he's going to prepare me dinner tonight - Chicken Laksa - my favourite! But before cooking, he prepared a bubble bath for me.
I really have no idea what is going on and am wondering why the hell is he awfully nice! He is always sweet - coming home with a bunch of flowers for me or with a small box of chocolate and once jewellery (YES!) to show that he appreciates that I take care of him and Olivia.
As I set the table, he opens the bottle of Moet. But I still didn't think he was proposing. He plays music in the background. Before dessert, he asks me to dance with him and that's when he asked me the question "WIll you marry me?" Of course I said YES! :-D
The Wedding
Got married 5th of September on such a sunny day!! Yay! :-D
